the story behind the bed lift kit
“Most van builds force you to choose between space or comfort. I didn’t want to compromise — I wanted a van that felt like home from day one, with all my creature comforts. That’s why I designed this bed lift kit.”

Purchased the lift kit for my race van/camper hybrid. Didn’t want a garage which made the bed feel like a crawl space, after much research I went with compact innovations kit and glad I did, the team were brilliant to deal with, I’m UK based so we’re dealing with each other from the other side of the world and it’s been a breeze.
Highly recommend!
Compact Innovations have provided an awesome bed lift for my van. Pretty much as soon as I installed it, I felt my van space double in size. 🙂
As custom campervan builders, the Compact Innovations lifting bed has worked great for us. Being able to completely customize the size and location of the lifting bed in the individual van and its particular layout enables us the flexibility we need to cater to various clients. This system offers a full-size bed that lifts up seamlessly to create a dining, workspace or play-space below really opening up the options for the space in a van. Coral, the owner, is very knowledgeable and insightful. It's been great working with her. Plus, like us, she's a small Australian business working hard to enrich her customers lives.
Compact Innovations Bed Lift was an overall amazing experience. Customer service has been great and very responsive. The product itself has worked flawlessly for over a year. The install instructions were straight forward and install itself was a piece of cake. 10/10 would recommend to create an extremely flexibly build out!
Easy to install, product looks great and works well. Installation guide “The Vanual” was well presented and easy to follow.
Coral at Compact Innovations is a delight to work with, super fast customer service and support. Definitely recommend!
We love working with this bed lift. It’s so easy to manage and works incredibly well. We are always sooo happy when we install them in our van builds. Also phenomenal customer service.
We’ve installed the Compact Innovations bed lift system in one of our rental vehicles and couldn’t be happier with the results.
The system has been absolutely reliable — it hasn’t missed a beat. The single-touch operation makes raising and lowering the bed smooth and effortless, which is exactly what we need in a hire setup.
Compared to similar systems on the market, this one offers a much sleeker design, with no compromise on function or strength.
Installation was straightforward, and the demo video provided is a great resource — especially for anyone planning a DIY install.
On top of all that, their technical support has been fantastic — responsive, helpful, and easy to deal with.
All in all, we’re extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it.
